Jekyll & Hyde

June 2019 was full of blood, sweat and happy tears for Miss Lindsey. She was cast in one of her dream roles: Lucy Harris in Jekyll & Hyde. With only two weeks of rehearsal, she was a busy woman dancing, belting, and finding her way through the dark streets of London. The show ran for two weeks in Charlotte with raving reviews from audience members. Check out the great production photos!

Bonnie & Clyde

Miss Lindsey kicked off 2018 with a BANG! Literally. She was beyond thrilled to receive the news right before Christmas, that she had been cast as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie & Clyde the Musical, at Matthews Playhouse. Firing bullets, kissing bad boys, dreaming of fame and running from the cops was quite a change from her everyday studio life! But, she quickly adapted to the 1930s lifestyle with the help of her wonderful director, Billy Ensley.

This role was an absolute dream for Lindsey. She enjoyed bringing this "ravishing" redhead to life every night on the stage through her bluesy melodies, Texan charm, quick temper, and ability to love. BIG thanks to the friends. family, and community that came out to see the show! It was an emotional last show for Lindsey, and hard for her to put this show to rest, but as Bonnie P. would say, "Dyin' Ain't So Bad".

Annie Get Your Gun

From sharpshooting rifles, to doin' what comes nat'rally, Lindsey spent the summer barefoot in Colorado depicting one of history's amazing talents, Annie Oakley! Lindsey enjoyed working under her director from Broadway and learned that summer that you really "can't get a man with a gun".

#GROOVE6

Ever wonder what it is like to live on a boat? Ask Lindsey! She spent all of 2015 performing on the Carnival Breeze with her party band "#Groove6". The band performed Top 40 songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Talk about a lot of music to learn! Did you cruise in 2015? Maybe you saw Lindsey aboard Carnival's #1 ship for entertainment!

Eternal Jamnation

About 20 minutes south of the Studio we find Charlotte's local theme park - Carowinds! In the Fall of 2011 and 2012, Lindsey performed in Scarowind's Eternal Jamnation. A rock show which mixes famous 80s anthems with current hits. Lindsey was able to perform hit songs like "Shook Me All Night Long," "Don't Stop Believin'," "Edge of Glory," and "Bring Me to Life."

Schroeder Studio 2017

The Spring 2017 Schroeder Studio Recital took place in Lindsey's home in Indiana. Lindsey hosted 3 different recitals in her home, two of which are pictured here. These evenings were a celebration of all of the hard work the students put in during the Spring Semester.

Students high school and above are allowed to participate in the studio's cabaret. This is an exciting evening beginning with cocktails and appetizers, followed by a cabaret performed by the older students in the studio. The event guarantees laughs, new friends, and a free food! It is an event younger students look forward to performing in when they reach high school.

Tap Class

Lindsey's favorite style of dance is tap! She loves teaching any level from beginner to advance. Dance provides a creative atmosphere for the classroom... sometimes you can even have Frozen dress up days! Private and group sessions can be arranged by request.

Musical Theatre

What could be more interactive for kids than learning about Musical Theatre? In Lindsey's class, students experienced Musical Theatre first hand.  They were challenged to learn about musicals through singing, dancing, and acting. The end of the semester resulted in students being able to identify musicals from one song, perform monologues on stage by themselves, and recognize common dance steps from Broadway auditions. I was so proud of them, I threw a pizza party!

Lindsey & the Big 10

Ciao Bella! Lindsey spent 2013 cruising the Mediterranean Sea! In between seeing the beautiful cities, she did a little performing onboard with a 10 piece Jazz Band - Lindsey & the Big 10. This year was not only filled with amazing pictures and memories, but new vocal standards and challenges of performing with a live horn section!

Directing Musicals

Lindsey had the pleasure of directing two musicals while home in Indiana. She created a Summer Camp where students would what it takes to put on a show in ONE WEEK! From casting, to the opening production, students were involved in every moment. It was a crazy week to say the least, but the creativity and determination of the students brought a standing ovation performance at the end of the week!

The Wizard of Oz was a full production with over 100 students, that rehearsed for a whole semeseter. From munchkins to ruby slippers, the students recreated this magical story with their own flair. Lindsey directed the production, as well as choreographed multiple numbers.

Rockin' Roller Coast

First job out of college? Only the island with the most roller coasters in America - Cedar Point.  Located not far from Lindsey's home state, Lindsey took the job to perform in "Grand Ole Country," which later lead to her being cast in the fall rock show "Edge of Madness."
